Womens Only Archery

Rising Phoenix Archery now has archery instruction classes exclusively for women.

The sport of archery is Catching Fire and more women than ever are giving the sport a try as the growth in female participation is up 400% over the last few years. Women now comprise over 50% of our students. The number of women in competition is still significantly less then their male counterparts. We hope that you will enjoy the sport and feel confidant enough to give competitive archery a try in the future.

Women’s Only Archery

Due to popularity, we have made a special class time for women only. This archery class offers instruction in the basics of archery skills, safety, equipment identification, and proper shooting form.

WO sessions give the new archer the foundations necessary to properly execute an archery shot with consistent accuracy. Sessions will focus on safety,  techniques, and drills. Coaches will give archers increasing challenges at greater distances, but each archer will advance at their own pace. We are proud to be certified by USA Archery to teach the same National Training System (NTS) used to prepare our Olympic archers.

Women Only (Yes, mothers and daughters can take this together) Ages 15+

Each session is designed to build on the last to help the archer become familiar with the steps of the shot cycle. Archers will be knowledgeable in safety and basic shot techniques by the end of this course. Course taught by a USA Archery Certified Coach.

Class size: Minimum 6 / Maximum 16 students.
